Hello! My name is Kara Liu.
I am a software engineer based in New York City. I was born in California, and raised in Taipei, Taiwan.
I love to create, whether that be web applications, elaborate meals in the kitchen, or art through different mediums (film photography is one of my favorites). The best part about creating is the process, especially new challenges that give me an opportunity to grow and learn something new!
Coding is one of the most exciting avenues of creation because of the evergrowing nature of new technologies. I am currently working on improving my knowledge in React and picking up different web projects. Web animation and experimental Javascript (like three.js) are next on my list!
Other hobbies I have recently picked up are espresso making/latte art and rug tufting.
